MHS Students Prepare for Winter Formal
The Winter Formal is fast approaching. The dance is on the 9th of December. Getting prepared for your dates can be stressful, and getting a date, in the first place, can be terrifying.
Going to the dances, at MHS, are definitely worth the effort when everyone is having fun.
“The dances are typically pretty fun. Everyone is there. It’s a party, and everyone has fun,” Junior Mason Mcfadden said.
Day dates tend to be the highlight of the dance even if it might take some time to prepare.
“I like the day activities, and going to the dances with a date is always fun. I will be going to the Winter Formal but I have done absolutely nothing to prepare. We are currently planning the day date but don’t know what we are doing yet,” Senior Preston Nelson said.
Asking someone is always better if you get creative. It can be really fun to ask in a new way.
“I knew that my date is into cross country so I looked up some ideas on Pinterest and I ended up doing a poster that said, ‘It would be eXCiting to ‘run’ to the Winter Formal with you. I made the X and the C capitalized, to symbolize cross country,” Sophomore Tristan Galloway said.
