November 1st or December 1st?
Every year the holiday seasons rolls around, and the debating starts. Students have their own opinions on when to start celebrating Christmas. The biggest question though is when to start listening to Christmas music.
“Oh it’s never to early! I listen to freakin’ “All I Want For Christmas” in July sometimes!” Junior Emily Curtis said.
Students may listen to Christmas music all year, while other kids have specific dates, and even times to when it’s okay to start.
“11:59 PM or before on Thanksgiving day. As soon as it hits 12 AM on Friday you’re good,” Junior Logan Ballard said.
Again the question is asked why does it matter what I do? As it is always said, your actions affect those around you.
“[It bugs me] When they have to impose it on everyone else, and in seminary when the play Christmas music,” Junior Logan Ballard said.
But why is there arguing going on when people should just enjoy the feelings that come with the Christmas music.
“You can listen to Christmas music as soon as it’s November. You can’t listen to it all year long or else you’d get tired of it, but it’s just so happy and makes everybody else happy. You just listen to it to make you happy,” Senior Sara Tippetts said.
