MHS Students Take to Traveling This Fall
Last week spud harvest gave students a free week away from school. This gave them the opportunity to travel to places around the world. A few students recommended and shared experiences of places they went last week.
Since their dad was attending a medical conference, the Lofgran’s got to visit Honolulu, Maui, and Kauai, in Hawaii. They learned to surf, zip lined over the place where Jurassic Park was filmed, and spent lots of time swimming at the beach. The two definitely recommended going there.
“I loved the heat there. It’s just really pretty there, and really green, it’s different than Idaho,” Senior Elayna Lofgran said.
Another student visited Boise to attend classes at Ballet Idaho for free since she received a scholarship this summer. Aside from her classes she went sightseeing, to antique shops, a movie theater, fancy restaurants, and enjoyed the views.
“The trees are really pretty in the fall because there were a lot of trees,” Junior Sofia Rammell said.
For this next student’s break she attended the National 4H Dairy Conference and World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin where she met lots of new people. When she wasn’t at the expo she was enjoying the sights Wisconsin had to offer.
“I loved it there it is so pretty and a lot warmer than Idaho, I would definitely recommend going there and walking around the rolling hills to see the leaves changing colors,” Junior Mckenna Roberts said.
