MHS Chooses Their Top 10 Songs

Students at Madison chose their top 10 favorite songs of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and these were the results:  

#1:Believer – Imagine Dragons

#2: Humble – Kendrick Lamar

#3:Young Dumb & Broke – Khalid

#4: Attention – Charlie Puth

#5: Wild Thoughts – DJ Kahled

#6: Despacito – Justin Beiber

#7: Body Like A Back Road – Sam Hunt

#8: Say You Won’t Let Go – James Arthur

#9: Sorry Not Sorry – Demi Lavato

#10: Look What You Made Me Do – Taylor Swift

These songs are often played on the radio but many students believe the radio is a fading trend.

“I hate the commercials (on the radio). So what I do is listen to music and add it to my playlist on Microsoft Groove. Most kids don’t listen to the radio because they use spotify and plug in their AUX cord,” Senior Keegan Wolfe said.   

Although songs on the radio are well know, most students prefer alternate kinds of music.

“I listen to Alternative Pop, like The 1975. Most kids listen to other forms of music,” Junior Henry Fye said.
