Utah Valley University Looks at Madison Sophomore
Sophomore Annalise Brunson went on an unofficial visit to Utah Valley University for soccer on Thursday Sep. 14.
“When I first got there I met with Head Coach Chris Lemay and then I just got to hang out with the team and they showed me around campus,” Sophomore Annalise Brunson said.
This past summer Annalise came in contact with Utah Valley for the first time.
“I went to a team camp there with the high school team. Then I went to an ID camp,” Brunson said.
Utah Valley is a school that excites Brunson. The academics along with the soccer really impressed her there.
“It’s a really good option just because it’s a really cool school and they’re really soccer based. They don’t have a football team so soccer is like the main sport there. Both the men’s and women’s teams are really good,” Brunson said.
Looking to the future Annalise hopes to take soccer to the collegiate level and accomplish the goals she has made for herself.
“It’s always been my dream to play D1 soccer ever since I was a little girl that’s been my goal. Now that I have the possibility to play now I just want to do as well as I can at the college level,” Brunson said.
