Another Crash at the Marquee Intersection
by Bryson Berrett and Fabian Komberg
On April 19 around 12:30 there was a car wreck on the road on front of MHS.
“A car was coming out of the parking lot by the marquee and they wanted to hit university. So all the cars were leaveing towards rexburg motorsports when someone stopped in the eastbound traffic and waved them through. The driver didn’t look to see if anyone was coming on the right headed west to the high school. Their buddy stopped and they waved and said hey thanks, gunned it and hit it the other car. No injuries,” Officer Bovie said.
Not very many people saw the wreck happen but many witnessed the outcome of it.
“I left for mcdonald’s when I went for lunch and there was nothing, and when I came back it looked like someone had pulled out of the school and didn’t look where they were going and got slammed into. When I got there, there was two or three police cars and there was a bunch of glass and plastic all over the ground. The one (car) that came off of the main road seemed like it was pretty messed up on the bumper on the right side.” Mr. Forbes said.
