Jordan Loya’s Unwavering Dedication On and Off the Wrestling Mat

Jordan Loya

Jordan Loya is one of the top 138 pound wrestlers in Idaho.

If you keep up with Madison wrestling then you certainly know the name Jordan Loya. Madison’s 138lbs pound wrestler Jordan Loya is one of the best in the state.

Jordan’s wrestling career started many years ago, at the age of 4 Jordan began wrestling. Almost immediately fell in love with the sport, and if you know Jordan you know that he does everything to 110 percent. A great example of this is Jordan grades, and his weight-lifting.

Jordan keeps his grades up at all times in the very top percentile.

“I can’t, I need to go home and finish my homework” I heard Jordan say just the other day. Jordan might be one of the most pound for pound physical fit kids in all of Madison high school. Before the season even started Jordan would rarely if not ever miss a day at working out. So it is no surprise when this mentality transfers on the mat.

You can see the hard work paying off, as just a couple weeks ago Jordan dominated the 37th Weiser Invitational. It was not even close. Jordan won his semifinals match 20-15, against one of the top 4A ranked wrestlers in the State. Jordan then proceeded to dominate the finals match 15-0 in which Jordan hit flow state mid match.

After the match Jordan calmly said,  “I felt really good in that match, my set-ups were there.”

I am so very excited to watch all of Jordan’s hard work pay off here soon at the State Tournament. If I was to bet, all money on the Jordan Loya being your 2026 6A 138lbs State Champion.
