Madison high schools parking lot

There is a lot to be said about Madison’s parking lot. Overall it’s pretty good but there is always room for improvement. With that said, let’s talk about the state of the parking lot. In all there are 4 different parking lots for students and 3 or 4 for teachers and they are all in decent condition. There are a few pot holes that could use some fixing and lines could do with a new paint job but other than that they’re in alright condition, not too many complaints in that department.

One thing that could be fixed though, and what could help make students a little happier is adding more spaces to the end of some of the parking rows. Out in the Ag and Softball fields parking lots more often than not kids are parking on the end of a row that is technically not a spot. And even though it’s not a real spot they aren’t obscuring traffic and they aren’t in anyones way. So they are getting ticketed for doing nothing wrong other than parking in a place that we all think should be made a spot. I think if these few end places were made spots it would make a kids day because they wouldn’t have to park forever far away and risk being late to class. 

Other than those few things the parking lots really aren’t too horrible and honestly we are lucky to have them here. Could they use some improvements? Sure! But at the end of the day they could be a whole lot worse than what they are right now so let’s just appreciate them, and  help keep them clean and nice.
