Speed limit change

Some roads should have slow speed limit signs like the one by RMS so we asked high school students what they thought about raising it. 

“The road by RMS should be a 50 because that’s what people already go on it and it isn’t in a school zone,” Junior Ryker Hawkins said. 

When people do 25 mph over the speed limit it makes it dangerous for others doing 35 like it says. 

“Since people go 50 anyway they should raise it because again it’s not a school zone and I almost got my mirror taken off by an idiot that was doing 50,” Hawkins said. 

Speeding is dangerous so some people think the limit should be raised but some disagree. 

“Just because people don’t like to go slow doesn’t mean they should do almost 30 over the speed limit, I think there should be more police officers patrolling and watching that road,” Sophomore Rylyn Clark said.
