Madison Beer’s new album “Locket “feels very personal. Instead of making loud pop songs meant for the charts Madison focuses more on softer music that highlights how she’s feeling. The album talks a lot about love, heartbreak, insecurity, and growing up, which makes it easy to connect to.
One of the strongest parts of “Locket” is Madison Beer’s voice. She sounds emotional without trying too hard and you can tell the songs mean a lot to her. The production is simple but still intriguing so nothing takes attention away from her vocals.
All the songs fit together really well, making the album feel like one complete story instead of just a bunch of random songs. The lyrics are honest and relatable especially when she talks about relationships and self confidence. It feels like things a lot of people our age think about but don’t always say out loud. While the album isn’t super upbeat it’s still interesting to listen to.
