Halloween Prep

Halloween was more than a week ago, but there are still so many costumes that we have missed. Senior Anya Hewitt and her friends went out dressed as Pixie Hollow fairies, and we’re not going to miss these costumes.
“We were the fairies from Tinker Bell and I was Iridessa,” Hewitt said.
It takes an army, or maybe it just takes 6 girls and a little inspiration.
“Abby Moore came up with the idea, she was like ‘hey lets do a group costume this year’, and she came across the Tinker Bell fairies,” Hewitt said.
Preparation takes time, but when the outcome is great, the time it took was worth the wait.
“It took me about a week, I thrifted most of my costume, but we’ve had it planned since the beginning of October,” Hewitt said.
Some pieces to your costume can be disappointing, but it is the experience that matters in the end.
“We all had fairy wings and my wings were kinda silly. They were half-broken and I had just gotten them from Spirit Halloween,” Hewitt said.
Some costume pieces can be a little wonky, but sometimes that wonky can pull things together.
“They were really cool because when I walked they would flutter open and close,” Hewitt said.
