Parker Willmore at least gets a high five with a volleyball player after trying a pick up line

Do pick-up lines still work in the big 25? Students share their opinion on pick-up lines and even do some testing to see if pick-up lines still work.

“I had a good pickup line ready to go, but you’re so good looking I’m speechless,” Senior Brynnlee Robinson said.

That was just one of the many pick-up lines students had ready to share. Robinson then shared the key to a successful pickup line.

“Confidence is definitely key,” Robinson said.

But are pick-up lines even relevant? Junior Jahasia Ormsby has noticed a shift in moving away from pickup lines.

“People are not using them as much,” Ormsby said.

Principal Klassen thought it would be better to put the pick up lines to the test rather than just give an opinion. So we went  to the girls volleyball practice so that I could test my pick up line on the team.

“Are you google, cause you’ve got everything I’m searching for,” I said.

The team laughed and I even got a high five, chalking it up as a success with the use of a pick-up line.

“That was a good one,” Senior Aspen Boice said.

Some pick-up lines are so bad that many students believe that they should be completely erased. This was Ormsby’s top line that should be erased.

“Did you just fart, cause you just blew me away,” Ormsby said.
