Students Share Insights on Day Dates

Story by Sawyer Jenkins
Who says that picking a day date has to be hard? Anything can work for a day date. It can be simple and still be fun.
“My favorite was one time that me and my friends, we all got together, and we went bowling, and it was actually really fun,” Sophomore Briggan Harrop said.
You can improvise, do it on the fly, or it can be planned. Senior Casey Sunderland had an amazing time at his date.
“We did this giant scavenger hunt around town with ducks. We hid them, and we had to see who could get to them the fastest and take a picture and whoever did that got a point. And then we went to like these five spots around town, and that was really fun,” Sunderland said
Harrop shares his opinion on the best kind of day dates
“Probably where you don’t regret anything and every time your time is well spent doing, while having a good time. You’re not gonna look back at me like, I wish we could fit this sigma in or do that,” Harrop said.
It doesn’t have to be perfect. The best dates are when you and your date have a great time and get to know each other better. Harrop understands what many of us do not.
“I don’t think it matters what you do as long as it’s a good time, well spent,” Harrop said.
