What are you going to do on Halloween this year? Not go to a dance

Parker Willmore from StuCo tells why they decided to get rid of the Halloween dance.

No more carving pumpkins, no more matching pjs, no more haunted houses. The school is devastated. Why aren’t we have the Halloween dance you may ask? This is what Parker Willmore has to say about it.
“I think it is a good thing because no one went to the dance, they just went on the day date. So I think that’s why we as a student council decided to get rid of the dance. It had super low attendance,” Willmore said
As you can see, Willmore thinks it’s a good thing to get rid of the dance but there were other reasons they got rid of the dance besides low attendance.
“The dance team lost money when they held the dance because there was such low attendance,” Willmore said
Losing money does make more sense to cancel the dance.
Well we got rid of the dance part so if we as a student council decide to pick a random Saturday close to halloween and just have a day where we go on dates and go with groups, that’s ok. But I don’t think we as a student council can advertise or affiliate with that.”
