Girls Basketball Districts

Girls basketball districts are just around the corner and their main season finished up last week. Their main focus now is state.

Everyone wants to be the best and try their hardest so they can win districts.

“I’m excited for districts because everyone puts in their A game. Districts make the team play together because everyone has the same goal in mind which is making it to state,” Junior Taelie Jones said.

Districts has teams from all over playing against each other and they will play at our school or away.

“Districts are played at the highest ranked teams court, so we play our first game at Madison,” Jones said.

With districts being at the end of the season, you have the whole season to make memories with your team.

“My favorite memory so far is probably Emerson draining a half court shot at the beginning of the game because her defender wasn’t on her,” Jones said.
