Decorations for Hope Week
Hope is in the air this week, with MHS Hope Squad annual Hope Week, being in full swing with the theme of ‘I’ll Leave a Light On.’
“Mrs. Grover found a really motivational song, it’s called I’ll Leave a Light On for You, and we all agreed that it would fit for this year, and chose to do that,” Junior Jenifer Lemon said.
Even though Hope Week is short, the planning that went into it has been going on for months.
“We had to decide how to decorate each hallway, what the students’ compliments would be on, and then we had to decide how we would get the teachers’ compliments to tie it all into our theme,” Junior Hunter Browneller said.
The Hope Squad has put in quite a bit of effort to make this year’s Hope Week a success.
“We just want to spread as much hope and happiness as we can, so it reaches everybody,” Sophomore Hanna Mecham said.
