Students and teachers face off

The students vs. teachers basketball game is happening at the winter assembly on Thursday January 9, 2024. Here are some of the students who are playing, their predictions for the score, the teachers they are most excited to play against, and the biggest strengths of their team. The students lost a close game last year and are hoping for redemption.

“I say we will win because we have ballers on the team, and we can pull through. I think the final score will be 38-20 with us winning,” Senior Adam Rumsey said.

The relationship between the students and teachers is what makes the game fun and exciting to watch.

“The teacher I’m most excited to play against is Mr. Lambson because he’s funny to trash talk,” Senior Max Thueson said.

The students have been practicing and waiting for this game.

“We have been practicing a few times and have a game plan laid out,” Senior McKay Manner said.

The students will need to rely on their strengths if they want to win.

“The biggest strength of our team is our grit, speed, and determination to win the game,” Manner said.
