Our Madison volleyball players just won state for the third time in a row. Read what they have to say about coaches, players, and the thrill of winning.

“The best feeling is after working hard for something and getting that satisfaction of winning and it’s a super positive feeling. After relief of knowing you worked hard and it paid off and you made it to the end and it was all worth it. My favorite part of volleyball is my teammates because I love bringing a fun energy and we all have lots of fun, we get each other hyped and so playing with them makes it really fun. We also help get everyone involved and we always cheer each other on,” Senior Brooklyn Lamph said.

The support and utter joy these girls have for each other is amazing to hear and to watch on the court.

“My favorite part of winning is just seeing how much our work has paid off. We put a lot of time and effort as we go through the season and then to end the season like that is literally the cherry on top. My favorite part as a whole is the girls. We’re all close friends and we all just get along. Our coaching staff is great too. We all have fun and it’s just really enjoyable,” Senior Aislyn Peterson said.
