Madison JV beat Pocatello Thunder

Madison Bobcats JV boys basketball team beat the Pocatello Thunder ending the game 59-49. The 1st quarter was close being within only a couple of points. The Bobcats were playing a very wide defense covering the whole court. During the first quarter of the game Madison was making a lot of fouls, almost putting thunder into the bonus. While thunder made very little fouls. Ending the quarter at 18-17 Thunder. The 2nd quarter was almost the opposite where thunder had the most fouls with only a couple for Madison. The score was very close again. Madison was able to tie it up with 3 minutes left and makes comeback to gain the lead ending the half at 30-29 Madison. The 3rd quarter was not thunder’s quarter. Thunder kept missing shot after shot. Madison’s lack of getting the rebound after the shot only made thunder shooting look worse. Madison was able to extend their lead to finish the quarter at 47-39 Madison. The 4th quarter looked like the 1st with a lot of fouls being made. Madison did send Thunder into the bonus while the Thunder almost did the same. In the end Madison played a great game and beat Thunder 59-49.
