On Saturday, October 7th, the Madison High School hosted the annual Marching Band Festival where 12 bands competed from all around Idaho and Wyoming.
“My favorite part was watching everybody perform and doing something that they can be proud of, ” Senior Andra Geiger said.
The marching band and color guard practice all year for their competitions.
“It starts really, really hard but then as you go you kind of get used to it,” Senior Harley Wolfley said.
Marching band is not as easy as they make it look.
“Marching band is a very cool activity. I don’t think people realize how much work we put into it, but it’s a really great experience,” Senior Ayden Cox said.
