The Madison Bobcats lost 59-41 against the Mountain View Mavericks. With that loss the Madison Bobcats will officially be the 4th place team at state playoffs this year.

The Bobcats were down for the whole game and were down by 14 points early in the fourth quarter. The Bobcats never recovered and lost by 18 points.
“We just got outworked,” coach Shane Humpherys said.
Nash Humphrey led the team in points once again with 14 points which made him the leading scorer in all state playoff games for the Bobcats.
The Madison Bobcats finished the season 18-8 and are only losing one player next season which is senior Daxton Webb.
Although this wasn’t the outcome the Bobcats wanted they still will bring home a trophy for the best student section for the second year in a row. But now we are on to the next season where we can expect some great things.
“Hopefully good things, we had a great year this year, we want to get back here and make some noise next year,” coach Humpherys said.
With the Bobcats losing very few seniors they could be a top 3 team in the state next year and can have a chance to run for the state title if they achieved their goals.
“We need to get bigger, faster, stronger,” coach Humpherys said about their goals.
So watch out for your Madison Bobcats next season as they could make a run for the state title.
