Can you hear the Music?
Concerts are a fun way for students to get out of the house and have a good time. Because there are no concerts here, students have to travel out of state to experience a live show. Linden Egbert got to go to the Kid Laroi concert in Salt Lake City on September 3 and experienced things that you don’t usually see in Rexburg.
“Me and three of my friends went down and then met two others friends there,” Thueson said. “I was kind of nervous because it was my first concert and I wanted to have good seats, but I was excited.
One of Egbert’s favorite songs he got to hear was “Same-Energy” and after the show, things got a little wild.
“After the concert we were heading out the doors and all the sudden we saw this circle of people so we decided to see what was going on. I was able to squeeze into the circle and inside the circle there were three people throwing hands at each other and all the sudden a huge security guard came busting into the circle and ripped these three guys apart that were fighting,” Egbert said.
Even though they were crazy, Egbert still thinks people should go, unless they are short.
“I would recommend this concert to other people, but if you aren’t very tall, you wouldn’t be able to see very much. At this concert there weren’t any seats and you had to just stand and if you were short you couldn’t see over people’s heads,” Egbert said.
