An Ultimate Guide to Day Dates
School dances are a big deal at Madison High School. Sometimes it can be hard to know what to do the day leading up to it. Luckily, students at Madison have perfected the best day dates.
“My favorite day date was what we did for prom. What we did was each of the couples went to a food place and got some food and we all came back and had a picnic. We went bowling after,” Junior Audrey Hay said.
If that idea isn’t your cup of tea students have some other ideas for you.
“I think my favorite date that I planned was for Sweethearts. We went to the Madison Gymnastics Center and we had the whole place to ourselves. We connected our phones to the speakers and played just anything we wanted,” Senior Hannah Stock said.
Some people would rather not spend a lot and do something fun at home.
“If you like baking, you could have everyone buy a really weird ingredient like dragon fruit, or an onion, or a pickle, something really random. And you have to make something out of that ingredient and see whoever does it better,” Stock said.
