The girls and boys are switching roles for this homecoming week. During the week at MHS, students are able to participate in many different activities throughout the week. One of the activities that boys can take part in is called manleading. One of the MHS students participating is Senior Cam Ricks.

“Manleading is run by the cheerleaders. They basically teach us stunts and cheers that we can do for the powerpuff game,” Ricks said.

These boys put in time to make sure the girls have someone cheering them on. They learn many different cheers and help get the crowd pumped up. One of the ways they do this is by the different chants they do.

“My favorite cheer we do is called the color shout. That is when we chant different school’s  colors to the student section and they repeat it back,” Ricks said.
