Tanghulu candy is a great party treat. You can try it with all kinds of fruit and it actually originated in China.

Ingredients:

You will need skewers to dip them and the amount depends on how many you want to make

½ cup sugar

¼ cup of water

Instructions:

You just pour the sugar and water into a pan and just give it a little swirl to mix it. You don’t want to stir it because that will cause the sugar to crystallize and then it won’t work properly. After you swirl it then let it simmer until it reaches a nice boily golden brown color. Make sure to have your fruit on the skewers and ready to dip and then go for it.
