Rexburg posts updates on the number of active covid cases

With Covid-19 cases increasing, there are many concerns for the future. However, with correct precautions, we can move forward without too much fear. MHS junior, Barrett Flamm, and teacher, Mr. Snelgrove, gave us their thoughts on the matter.

Many feel that while there are many risks involved, coming back to school was definitely worth it.

“If people keep trying to prevent it from happening, we shouldn’t be too worried about it.

College students come from everywhere so they could easily raise the numbers but I wasn’t too concerned about the high school because it’s nice to go back and see friends,” said Flamm.

Even though we are back in school, we all need to remember to do our part to take extra precautions.

“People need to be informed but also people need to be respected regardless of what somebody else thinks their choice should be. It’s easy to get caught up in it. They think if they have an idea, everyone needs to follow their idea. I think it’s extremely important to respect people for the valued citizen, student, and person that they are. We can work forward together unified rather than try to point out our differences,” said Snelgrove.
