What The Truck
Rexburg Local law enforcement agencies are looking for a suspect who stole a Truck from Idaho Falls. Four MHS students at the Turf got confronted by a cop.
“We were ditching third hour to go play soccer. We were about to get out of the car when the cop showed up. All of us got super scared, and nervous,” Junior Raymundo Charqueno said.
They didn’t know what was going on in the town, and thought they were about to get a ticket for something.
“When the cop showed up he asked us questions like, ‘What are you doing here’, ‘Have you seen anyone suspicious walk around over here’ we noticed it was Carter Stanfords dad and told him we were just ditching third hour, and told him we haven’t seen anyone act suspicious,” Charqueno said
After The cop was done talking to the Madison High school students they didn’t stay to play soccer.
“We knew if someone came we could take them on, but we didn’t want to take the risk of getting shot,” Charqueno said.
