Madison Girls Soccer Dominate in First Game

Madison’s varsity girls soccer team beat Shelley High School 16-0, Friday at Ferguson Field, starting the season off with a bang.

Right off the bat Madison dominated around Shelley’s goal. Senior Hannah Bolingbroke scored the first 2 goals of the game just minutes in. “I am so excited to kick some butt!” exclaimed Bolingbroke, after being asked about her feelings toward the upcoming season.

Shelly struggled to get the ball down the field to Madison’s goal, protected by Senior, Rachel Hicks and defenders including senior Ali Dummar who, even though being a defender, scored two goals “I scored two goals but one was off-sides,” stated Dummar.

Annalise Brunson scored 4 goals matching Bolingbroke’s 4, leaving the other 8 scored by various members of the team.

Overall Madison dominated their first game, showing potential for a very bright season ahead.
