Do Energy Drinks Really Give You Energy?

Males between the ages of 18 and 34 years old consume the most energy drinks, and almost one-third of teens between 12 and 17 years drink them regularly. According to nccih.nih.gov/health/energy-drinks

“Energy drinks only give me energy on specific days. I think it depends on my mood,” Sophomore Nathan Jensen said.

Everybody has their favorite flavor of drink even if it is water.

“They don’t really provide me with any energy, I only drink them for the variety of flavors,” Senior Tyler Olsen said.

Some students don’t believe that energy drinks give them energy, but instead helps them focus.

“They don’t necessarily give me energy. They help me focus more than anything.” Mr. Forbes said.
