Debate Dynamics

The MHS debate team is preparing for the upcoming season during December by speaking and debating.

Students share their outlook on the future of the team because of the past tournaments.

“As far as team unity goes we are not doing super great, but I think that we will improve because we are having a lot of success,” Junior Carter Allen said.

Team captain of the debate team shares her opinion on the debate teams successes and their strong suits.

“We need to figure out our team dynamics. I think we could have taken a better score because we have won sweepstakes every other tournament except this one,” Senior Rosie McKamey said.

With the team excelling from past tournaments and placing and receiving awards for being one of the best schools the upcoming season looks full for MHS debate team.

“I think the future for our team looks bright because there is eighty seven people on it,” Mr. Benson said.
